Now the interesting part is that I heard that in the novel it is implied that Alcatraz's physical body is clinically dead inside the suit during the event of Crysis 2 (or maybe near the end) and that the suit was controlled by consciousness ("soul") alone. By the end of Crysis 3, not only has Prophet's mind basically driven the body but somewhere along the line the suit has completely turned Alcatraz's body into a "clone" of Prophet (see Crysis 3 ending). IIRC this is an automatic process that cannot be stopped by either of them, something that has to do with the Ceph tech in the suit.īy the end of Crysis 2, Prophet and Alcatraz share the same body with them gaining control over each other (sort of like a multipersonality disorder I guess), and by the end of the Escalation novel Prophet's "soul" has completely taken over Alcatraz's body. I think it's covered in the novel Crysis: Escalation which, to be honest, I have not read but the gist of it is somewhere near the end of Crysis 2 and between the two games the nanosuit, being wired to Prophet's genetic and memories, start to genetically "rewrite" Alcatraz's body and mind and turn him into Prophet.
